BUFFERING & Troubleshooting Tips

Be sure you are not using more connections than what you are paying for. Exceeding them will cause buffering and kicks outs, and may get you banned.

step 1. Do weekly maintenance.
Unplug your device and router weekly for ten minutes and plug back in
Clear cache on the app
Refresh/update your epg playlist daily

step 2. If your router is able to split between 2.4 G and 5G—-If you are close to the router in the same room, use 5G. If your streaming device is further away from the router use 2.4 G, because it travels at a longer distance than 5G does. Prioritize your devices if on a mesh router or router that allows that and watch your device load.

step 3. Sometimes a device simply needs a reboot. Every few days is probably often enough for a streaming device.

step 4. Try turning off your modem and router for 10 minutes. Never less than 5. Let them release their IP addresses. Then start the modem first. Let it reach ready status.
Then turn on router. Let it get to the point it broadcasts signal.
Clear device cache and reboot it.

step 5. Have a VPN (Virtual Private Network) in your bag of tricks.
A VPN is your defense against many things, including being throttled or even blocked by your ISP. See our VPN info in the bot for tips if using one. You may have switch your server if getting buffering.

You still need to disconnect and reconnect to VPN servers once in awhile.

Also try different servers, preferably with low ping. The number with ms following it. Keep it low. The closest server to you is not always the best.
If using IPVanish, always turn off scramble and auto connect.
